My favorite picture of myself. You see, until I found this picture, I thought my fascination with the guitar began in high school. What a pleasant surprise to learn that strummin' is a lifelong passion. The weird thing, though, is that I'm "playing" it right-handed in the pic. That can't have been comfortable. The makeshift stage there is in the backyard of my childhood home in rural southeastern Alabama. To my left rests a vast cornfield. (37 KB)
